Uric acid is a normal waste product found in the body, most of the uric acid in your body is filtered out by the kidneys and removed from the body. When too much uric acid builds up in the blood it can cause a type of arthritis known as gout. Excess Uric acid can also lead to the development of kidney stones and possibly kidney failure.
